While at JUMPSTART/LA, attendees will…
Participate in movement classes, interactive seminars, and Q+As with professional artists working in the field such as Jillian Meyers, James Tolbert, CONTRA-TIEMPO, Vickie Roan of Entity Contemporary, Gracie Whyte, Laura Berg… and more to be announced!
Gain insight the many avenues and job opportunities available to movement artists in LA
Receive 1-on-1 mentorship from the JSLA Producing team and industry experts to help you hone your goals, gain personalized advice, and introductions
Develop a roadmap of how to find and create work opportunities within nonprofit, concert, and commercial sectors
…AND leave with an updated headshot, a digital resource folder, new friends, and more!
The program is built for dancers (ages 19+) who are pursuing careers as professional performers. Rising juniors, rising seniors, and those who are 1-3 years out of undergrad are ideal candidates for this program.
