Roles & Responsibilities
Undergraduate Student Affairs Team (SAT) & Directors of Undergraduate Studies (DUGS) Responsibilities
LEADERSHIP
Serves on the SOD leadership team, offering input on various leadership decisions
MARKETING / COMMUNICATIONS
Coordinate & oversee photo shoots
Review & approve photos from all production photo shoots (typically dress rehearsal & Monday after studio shoot)
Collaborate with Mar/Com specialist on season marketing materials
Collaborate with Mar/Com specialist on season announcement
GUEST ARTISTS & REPERTORY
Keep track of potential guest artist recommendations from faculty & students
Keep track of repertory and support a rotation that ensures we present a range of styles and opportunities for students
Propose guest artist & season plan to Director
Considering input from faculty & students and budget constraints
Work with Director to contract & schedule guests
Once contracts are complete, coordinate guest visits (collaborating with DUGS & Concert Directors as appropriate)
CONCERTS
Serve as mentor for faculty concert directors
Ensures concert directors are upholding responsibilities (might include sending reminders & supporting Mar/Com specialist in upholding deadlines)
Ensure that survey is set up (work with Front Office admin)
Responsibilities outlined in this document are in effect from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
