The High School University Program provides the opportunity for gifted high school students desiring an accelerated Ballet or Modern Dance training environment to study with School of Dance majors at the University of Utah. The Program allows high school sophomores through seniors to take college-level course work at the University of Utah. The program is designed for motivated students to enhance their high school curriculum and get a head start on a college career. High School University Program students may participate in any 1000- or 2000-level course, as long as they meet the prerequisite requirements.

Interested students must (1) apply and be admitted to the University of Utah High School Program as well as (2) complete an audition application for the School of Dance and pass an in-person audition. Audition information can be found above by clicking "Apply & Audition". For questions regarding the Program, please reach out to Professor Christopher Alloways-Ramsey, Director of Recruitment for the Ballet Program, at c.alloways-ramsey@utah.edu or Professor Natalie Desch, Director of Recruitment for the Modern Dance Program, at natalie.desch@utah.edu
