In addition to professional company member positions KRD provides professional opportunities for aspiring dance students and upcoming graduating dancers through providing post-graduate training, a Trainee Program, an Apprentice Program, as well as paid Company Member positions. We hope you will encourage your dancers to audition for KRD by sharing the attached information with them. We do have several positions open for both female and male dancers for the 2025-26 Season. Attached is an audition flyer.
Ms. Robards and her company are available for teaching and performance residencies at your dance department. I would welcome the opportunity to provide to you more information about this and/or to speak with you about opportunities that may exist at your college/university for residencies, master classes, setting KRD repertoire on your students, and/or company performances.
KRD also offers a Summer Intensive Company Project for professionals, aspiring professionals, professional development for educators, and advanced college/university dance students and graduates. The program is available in 1 week and 2 week participation options, although serious candidates for Company Member positions are required to participate in the full 2 week Intensive. SICP includes technique classes in modern, provides participants the opportunity to work along-side KRD Company Members during the resetting of KRD repertoire as well as the creation of a new work by Artistic Director Kim Robards, and affords participants opportunities to perform with KRD in performances open to the public. This year’s programs will be held June 16-28, 2025, with the culminating performance on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
