Carmel Dance Festival: Dancers and Choreographers Needed!
Dear University of Utah Dance Community,
I hope this finds you well and that you are enjoying the end of summer.
Carmel Dance Festival is pleased to announce our 3rd Annual Dance & Choreography Fellowship Program in picturesque Carmel Valley from December 28, 2024, to January 5, 2025. This program is generously sponsored by Carmel Dance Festival patrons, with each and every dance fellow attending on a full scholarship.
We warmly invite you to explore details on our website and kindly share the attached flyer with your fellow faculty, administrators, students, alumni, and anyone in your network who might find this opportunity enticing. We wholeheartedly encourage dancers and choreographers of all ages and backgrounds to apply, as we believe that diverse and intergenerational participation enriches the experience for everyone involved. Additionally, we strongly encourage choreographers working in genres in addition to contemporary, such as hip hop, salsa, tango, Bharatanatyam, and more to be nominated. We would love to support dance makers across a diverse range of styles.
The deadline for choreographers' nominations is September 15th, and we highly recommend submitting dancer applications by October 20th for priority review.
To be considered for the 3rd Annual Dance & Choreography Fellowship Program, choreography nominators and dance applicants can start the process by emailing Lillian@carmeldancefestival.org.
