Assistant Professor in Ballet at University of Georgia

UGA Dance is currently inviting applications for an Assistant Professor in ballet for our A.B. undergraduate program in Dance. Successful applicants must be qualified to teach undergraduate ballet technique and related courses. A terminal degree (MFA or PhD degree) or professional equivalent in Dance or related field and two years of university teaching experience are required. Additionally, this position prefers candidates who also have expertise in Dance Science, Health and Wellness to help develop and lead a new certificate program in dance science. This is an exciting initiative that will align with the numerous double majors in our program and the university’s development of a School of Medicine.
