Tampa Bay Ballet Workshop

Greetings,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to introduce a unique and engaging opportunity that will greatly benefit the students of your program. As a representative of the Tampa Bay Ballet Partnering Workshop, I am excited to inform you about our upcoming workshop, designed specifically for aspiring dancers.

At TBBPW, we are committed to providing exceptional training and expanding artistic horizons within the dance community. To further our mission, we have developed a specialized Ballet Partnering Workshop aiming to enhance students' understanding and proficiency in this essential aspect of ballet.

Led by accomplished ballet mistress Ivonne Lemus, the Ballet Partnering Workshop offers an outstanding learning experience. Jackson Kettell and Jalen Williams boast extensive professional ballet performance and instructing experience, bringing a remarkable wealth of knowledge and expertise to this workshop. Their approach combines technical precision with artistic expression, emphasizing the significance of trust, communication, and mutual support between partners.

The workshop curriculum encompasses various facets of ballet partnering, including lifts, adagio work, and pas de deux technique. Participants will have ample opportunities to develop their partnering skills through structured exercises, coached rehearsals, and performance-oriented sessions. Moreover, Albena Arnaudova will guide students in appreciating the nuanced dynamics and storytelling potential inherent in ballet partnering.

To ensure an immersive and enriching experience, we have limited the workshop capacity to 80 participants. Maximum class size is 20. This allows for personalized attention, fostering individual growth, and facilitating strong interpersonal connections among the participants. The workshop will serve as an invaluable platform for college students to enhance their technical proficiency, gain performance insight, and broaden their artistic scope.

I will send you a detailed brochure that provides comprehensive information about the Ballet Partnering Workshop, including objectives, schedule, faculty, and registration process. We kindly request your support in sharing this exciting opportunity with your ballet program students, encouraging them to consider participating in this workshop.

We would be delighted to explore the possibilities of scholarships for deserving students or discuss collaboration opportunities that align with your institution's goals. We value the opportunity to work with esteemed institutions like yours to promote excellence in ballet education.

If you have any further questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact me at 727-698-2565. I am readily available to address any inquiries you may have.

Warm regards,

John Kettell
