Water Street Dance Holiday Jam

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Kate Alava, and I serve as the Artistic Assistant of Water Street Dance MKE (WSDM). I am reaching out to you today to extend an invitation to our annual winter intensive-Holiday Jam, which I believe would be of great interest to your students.

The essence of our intensive lies in uniting the Midwest dance community, providing a platform for dancers to forge personal connections with established artists. Our esteemed faculty comprises established artists within both the concert and commercial worlds. Some of these individuals include Andrew Cribbett-Assistant Artistic Director of Eisenhower Dance Detroit, Dakayla Wilson- SYTYCD Runner Up, Joshua Peugh- International Choreographer, Morgan Williams- Artistic Director of WSDM, various WSDM Company Artists & others.

Scheduled to run from December 13-15, this immersive weekend event features daily classes led by our distinguished faculty. Additionally, participants can look forward to a series of evening performances, all of which are included in the intensive package. Moreover, it’s a great networking opportunity for young and inspiring artists to forge connections with fellow artists and potential hires.

Recognizing the financial constraints faced by many students, particularly while pursuing their education, we have introduced a Pay-What-You-Can program tailored for dancers aged 18 and above seeking supplemental training beyond their academic programs. Should any of your students express interest in this initiative, kindly direct them to email us at info@waterstreetdancemke.com for further details. Please have your students include a resume and reel/solo video.

Should you have any inquiries or require additional information about our event, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to assist in any way possible. Thank you for considering this opportunity, and we eagerly anticipate the possibility of welcoming your students to Holiday Jam.
