Presenting Student Concert Spring ‘23
Presenting Student Concert Spring ‘23: an intimate showing produced and choreographed entirely by School of Dance students
The School of Dance’s Student Concert Committee proudly presents Student Concert Spring ‘23. Produced fully by a small committee of undergraduate School of Dance students, the evening-length show will feature 10 distinct works choreographed by undergraduates in both the Ballet and Modern degree programs.
Works will be showcased in Studio 240 of the Marriott Center for Dance, which the committee converts into a fully functional black box theater. Along with a dynamic range of in-person works, three student-made screendances will be included in a pre-show screening to begin 30 minutes prior to the show.
For many of the choreographers in the show, this will be their first time showing work for a public audience. The student concert show happens each semester, and has become a special tradition within the school. Join us for an intimate evening showcasing the emerging creativity and versatility of the School of Dance student body.
This event is supported in part by Fine Arts Fees.
