A Warm Welcome to Will Maguire - the Newest Member of our Team

We’re pleased to announce the newest member of our School of Dance community, Will Maguire! Will is joining the School as the new Administrative Officer, and brings a wealth of experience and deep interest in the arts to the role. 

Will is originally from Vernal, Utah and moved to Salt Lake City in 2011 to attend the University of Utah where he got his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Accounting. During his time in school, Will worked in the accounting department at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA). Since graduation, Will has spent the last six years working as a Financial Auditor with the Utah Office of the State Auditor. However, he is ecstatic to be making the jump to performing arts administration since his true passion is performing.

Will is an avid member of the Utah theatre community. He has performed in musical theatre shows throughout the valley at venues such as: Hale Centre Theatre, Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, The Grand Theatre at SLCC, and the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center. He is also an active circus artist specializing in aerial silks and has performed with Aeris Aerial Arts of Utah, Onyx Pole & Aerial Fitness, and Defying Gravity Utah. 

Will is excited to join the University of Utah staff and combine his technical skills with his love for the performing arts to serve the students in the School of Dance.
