UofU Dancers compete in the Puerto Rico Classical Dance Comp

Twenty ballet students from the School of Dance will be representing the U at the Puerto Rico Classical Dance Competition 2/25 — 27. They will be competing against dancers from South and North America. During the three day competition, students will be observed in master classes, and present variations to internationally recognized judges for an opportunity to be awarded scholarships. The chosen students will be awarded scholarships and will have access to international dance programs and companies. 

The following students will represent the U:

Freshmen: Adelaide Pitcock, Sophia Kortuglou, Kendall MacMillan, Alexandra Cherenson, Caroline Sowers, Haley Parsons, Devin Hammond, Benjamin Hannum, Caleb Holt, and Michael Driskill

Sophomores: Natalie Nichols, Amrita Jade, Mindy Lasko, Olivia Huseonica, Emma Feddo, Hannah Willis, and Samuel Johnson

Juniors: Zephan Holt

Seniors: Juliana Wright and Sana Teply
