Congratulations to School of Dance student Nicole Kallsen, one of five winners of the World Council of Churches essay competition, marking the 50th anniversary of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Office of Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation.

Kallsen’s winning essay, “Embodying Worldview,” discusses how dance can provide an embodied medium to bring people of different backgrounds together. Her writing will be published in the Journal for Interreligious Encounter and Kallsen will present in an online event later this year.
