Rebecca Johnson is a performing artist from Park City, UT with a passion for connection through art. She received a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah in 2019 and began working at her alma mater full-time in 2020. As the School of Dance stage manager, she has coordinated numerous performances; her unique perspective, gained from years as a dancer, allows her to have a deeper understanding of productions from both a staff and a performer point of view. In addition to her work behind the scenes, Rebecca is passionate about teaching and mentoring. She hopes to showcase to the students at the SOD that being a movement artist is a strength in a world where the arts are often forgotten and gives you many skills, in addition to excellent spatial awareness. 

Outside of the university setting, Rebecca enjoys many different artistic mediums including choreography, drag, baking, and writing.
