About

The Student Concert Committee is a student group that allow students within the School of Dance the opportunity to produce and direct a show once a semester. Committee member duties included advertising the auditions and performances, adjudicating auditions, selecting works, acting as stage crew, managing audio and lighting, as well as other tasks that give students the tools to run a full-length performance. Student Concert is a unique opportunity for students to showcase their choreographic work in a professional performance that is free to the public. Our goal is to encourage students to support their peers' artistic work and make dance more accessible to the surrounding community.
