Joselli Deans and MFA Alum Irish Hubbard Produce Video

Professor Josellie Deans served at an executive producer for a new video that was filmed, produced, and edited by School of Dance MFA graduate Irishia Hubbard. The video was made in partnership with the University of Utah’s School for Cultural and Social Transformation, and was an Intersectional Signature Initiatives Research Grant Research Process Video.

The video, titled “Arthur Mitchell’s Love Letter to Harlem: Dance Theatre of Harlem and its Legacies,” recounts the DTH Anthology Colloquium at Ebenezer Baptist Church in 2023 and at The Collegium for African Diaspora Dance (CADD) in 2024 as the contributors work on the University of Florida Press text to be released 2025-2026.
