Artists have never stopped practicing their craft, even at the University of Utah, Modern Dance students contine to create concerts to show their work.

Twenty ballet students from the School of Dance will be representing the U at the Puerto Rico Classical Dance Competition 2/25 — 27.

MAGNIFYING is a series dedicated to showcasing the talent of our students, faculty, and staff to help you learn more about the remarkable individuals within our creative community here at the College of Fine Arts. 

February 19th and 20th, the School of Dance presents “ENGRAM 4,” an experimental dance piece created for the screen and virtually performed for Zoom, featuring Modern Dance MFA alumnus Scotty Hardwig and BFA alumnus Keanu Forrest Brady.

This spring, graduate student Halie Bahr will offer a brand-new course embracing that which lies outside the margins of typical dance structures.

The Screendance Capstone course provides in-depth investigation, theory and production of screendance and the opportunity to study with Katrina McPherson, award-winning artist/director and leading educator in the field of screendance.
